Almost Home is owned and operated by Jocey Pronko and her husband Brian Turse. The business was started in 2004 after a need was seen for a boarding situation that would fulfill the requirements of caring for animals with special medical needs.
Jocey has been a specialty board certified emergency/ critical care veterinary technician for 13 years. She began her career at Michigan State University and has been working at Colorado State University's Veterinary Teaching Hospital Critial Care Unit (CCU) for the last 7 years. In this capacity, Jocey has helped train thousands of veterinary students, interns, and residents. Jocey is also a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant and uses her wide range of veterinary training with each patient that enters the Almost Home boarding facility.
