Almost Home is owned and operated by Jocey Pronko and her husband Brian Turse. The business was started in 2004 after a need was seen for a boarding situation that would fulfill the requirements of caring for animals with special medical needs.
Jocey is a specialty board certified emergency/critical care veterinary technician. She has worked in a university Veterinary Teaching Hospital critical care unit for 14 years. She is currently employed at Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She is also a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant (CCRA) and is able to perform physical therapy techniques to pets who requires rehabilitation.
